POST 6 >> SUMMER PLANS
Hello everyone,
Well, all the plans I may have
for the summer do not depend on me, but on the world situation. If the Covid
issue is resolved, with vaccines, remedies, whatever. If that really happens I
guess I would have three options to travel: to Iquique, south of Chile or the
central coast.
The first option I chose because
two years ago, I went to Iquique to the congress of sociology with my partner
to present a research we had done with a group (but we were only the two
representing everyone). And I must confess that I had a very good time, I knew
many places and made many tours. That's why this summer I'd like to go with my
boyfriend, he couldn't accompany me last time and I think it's a nice place for
both of us to go. Besides, we could do many activities, like going to the
saltpeter mines for example.
For my second option, the reason
is because I don't know the south of Chile and I would like to go along the
Carretera Austral. I would also like to be able to go with my sister, I think
we would have a great time together and I think it is a trip that we would both
enjoy. I would like our activities to be to see many beautiful landscapes with
my favourite person.
In the third option, I would like
to go to the central coast with my family, because we always have a good time.
Our activities would be to enjoy and spend relaxing times together with all my
family, including grandparents, uncles and cousins.
The truth is that most probably
this summer instead of going on holiday to other places, I will have to work
and can't travel, but it's nice to dream.
I was very pleased when I was reading all your plans and suddenly you said that it's just a dream!! How sad :(
ResponderEliminarHi! I would also like to know the southern highway, I have loved it for years! But coming back to reality as you say, probably for this summer it will continue to be a dream :(

ResponderEliminarIt would be great if you could visit the southern highway! maybe you can take appropriate precautions!
Dafne, don’t worry. Working isn’t a bad plan. You can meet new people and hear other peoples stories. There are people that can start thinking about university once vacations end, while other have to keep working. At least you’re lucky you have a career.
